History

Since starting up in 1976, Fire Security Services Limited has designed and developed fire and security systems for a vast range of organisations.

David Nathan, the founding director and principle shareholder, has close to fifty years of experience within the Fire industry and is dedicated to improving fire safety. David is a member on the New Zealand Fire Alarm Standards Review Committee for NZS 4512, forms part of the Fire Protection Association (FPA) Executive team, and is on the board of Fire Protection Inspection Services (FPIS).

There is a huge depth of experience within our team, with our management team of 22 having over 345 years of experience in the Fire and Security industry, which averages around 15.5 years per manager, and with the remaining 160 plus staff, our collective experience within the Fire Security industry shows why we are the largest privately owned Fire Protection, Inspection and Security equipment installer in New Zealand.

The staff of our company are the cornerstone of our success who work with an open minded approach to each project ensuring that we can put together a design solution which truly meets your requirements giving you a system you can trust.

We are committed to setting the benchmark in industry standards and maintaining high levels of standard, part of this commitment is ensuring all our technical staff are trained in a NZQA accredited training programme, which means that our staff are constantly kept up to date with the newest systems.

We also have a very proactive approach to health and safety with our staff attending Site Safe and First Aid training courses as well as being police vetted.
